Today we witnessed a very exciting women race in Suomo. After first run Clara Marie Vorre, DEN was in 5. position, Hólmfríður Dóra Friðgeirsdóttir, ISL was in 3. position and Katla Björg Dagbjartsdóttir, ISL was 2. – all three figting also for the win.
However Nella Korpio from Finland was the fastest woman – she has experience from World Cup and Europa Cup and was too tough a challenge today. In the end of the race Dora ended 2., Katla 3. and Clara Marie 5. Very well done of all three.
For the men the race was very tough with many racers with very good points. However Christian Skov Jensen, DEN Ties de Ties De Jonge, NED, Jurre Jeurissen, NED and Marcus Toft Vorre, DEN all scored very good points – either PB, season best or just lowering points.
Also excellent work of the boys.
Unfortunately more Lowlanders racers skied out today.
Tomorrow will be the slalom of Belgium – we wish all racers good luck 🙂
