Suomu delivers really strong results to racers from Lowlanders countries – unluckily also some injuries.
Today and yesterday it was the races of Luxembourg and Belgium in Suomu in Finland in GS.
Women from Lowlanders nations dominates the first two podiums – with a victory and a second place for Dora Hólmfríður Friðgeirsdóttir and a third place for Clara Marie Vorre.
For the men the two young racers, Ties De Jonge and Jurre Jeurissen from Netherlands made giant improvement in points.
But almost all participants from the Lowlanders nation have scored season best points – and we still have four more races – how will it not end?
Races start at 06.00 in the morning to race before the sun takes over too much. So inspection is 05.20 with a fantastic sunrise at the arctic circle
Sadly we have had two racers injured in their knees – Adalbjorg Lilly Hauksdottir and Cristian Riis – we wish them a quick recovery and we will take good care of them the next days💪
